At the lake and by the fire
Homemade waffles cooked late the night before while chatting with friends that truly care about what you are going through. Two nights in the Westfalia by the barn, with the rooster singing all night. Swimming alone in an untouched lake. Ludo fishing, in trance. Watermelon dripping on naked bodies. Watching the light fairies dance on the creek. Big smiles on two kids face when they came back to surprise us with a 2 liter container of black currant to make jam by themselves. Potatoes on the fire cooked to perfection, just before the rainstorm started. The clearest skies we had seen since Utah. A disapointing news. Ideas that start to flourish and slowly take shape. Life.

Riding with Marie
Our friend Marie is a serious horse lover and she finally bought a house with enough land to have some of her own. Right now, she has two poneys for her children to ride and Mara and Mathilde were blessed to have some private lessons with her. Aisha was too busy fishing in their pond with Ludo!
I love old barns, the light that shines trough the windows, the energy of the animals who inhabit it...
Sparkly eyes and very proud little girls.

Blueberry picking
We had the privilege to go pick blueberries at Éco-L'eau Mission (where only family and friends can come and pick the amazing organic blueberries they produce).

Les mosaïcultures and fireworks on the roof
Last weekend, we went to see the amazing Mosaïcultures at the botanical garden in Montreal. It was breath-taking to stand in front of those incredible living creations!
:: L'homme qui plantait des arbres (The Man Who Planted Trees): notice the tiny tree in his hand ::
:: That dog looks like he is real, but he is entirerly made of plants!::
:: And to top such a beautiful day, we watched the fireworks from the roof-top terrace at my Dad and Hélène's place. ::

La Halte des Pèlerins and the secret of the giant
We went to am interactive show in a vineyard near my hometown in Quebec at the Vignoble la Halte des Pèlerins. Quebec people in general have a lot of showmanship and this activity was no exception. We followed characters around the vineyard and met many others along the way. The girls were totally living the story and loved every bit of it.
