Right now

It's so quiet right now. There's only Mémé and I at home tonight. The girls went winter camping in the forest behind our house with Papa. You should have seen them leave with their snowshoes and headlamp in the dark, like the Three Kings. They were so proud. I stayed at the window until I could not see any light in the distance. And now I sit here with the CB and think about my babies all bundled up somewhere in the cold night...

And I think about the year that just past and the one that is brand new...

New Year's books (a book for each of us in which we write last year's accomplishments and our projects/challenges for the year to come)

Right now, I am putting away the dry garments because I know that (very early) tomorrow morning, we will need the space for more wet clothes...

Right now, I miss my Yukon friends.

Right now, my head is still spinning of all the crafts that filled our day.

Right now, I feel truly blessed for the wonderful godparents that we picked for our girls.

Right now, I better go to bed in case the CB goes on and I need to walk 1 km in the wood at 2 am to go get a little Mathilde that misses her mamma...
