Une correspondante

My friend Elke who lives in Australia came up with a great idea: to have our two homeschooling families become penpals. I had a penpal from Corea when I was young and loved the experience, so I was quite excited for my girls to become penpals with Chilli. We just received their first package with a letter, some drawings, a story and beautiful wooden egg prop and a felt wombat. The girls are totally into learning about the animals of Australia. Aïsha already wrote a story about a koala and a kangoroo.

Mon amie Elke qui habite en Australie a eu une excellente idée : que nos deux familles correspondent. J'avais un correspondant de Corée quand j'étais jeune et j'ai beaucoup aimé l'expérience, j'étais donc emballée que mes filles puissent correspondre avec Chilli. Nous venons tout juste de recevoir leur premier paquet qui contient une lettre, des dessins, une histoire avec un œuf en bois qui sert de marionnette et un wombat feutré. Les filles sont très intéressées à en apprendre davantage sur les animaux d'Australie. Aïsha vient déjà d'écrire une histoire sur un koala et un kangourou.
