Guest speaker: Donna Simmons on relaxed homeschooling

Dear readers,

Donna Simmons of Christopherus homeschool ressources has graciously offered to do a guest post here on my blog about relaxed homeschooling. I know many of you are struggling with how to not recreate school at home and Donna has been an incredible mentor for me (and for many!) since my girls are baby.

Donna's article on relaxed homeschooling will be posted here on Monday October 10th and we hope to have great exchanges with you in the comment section. Donna will be available until Saturday the 15th to answer your questions.

Donna has herself been to a Waldorf school and she homeschooled her two sons. Before their sons were born, Donna an Paul a lived in some intentional communities and in a camphill in Britain. Donna has taught in Waldorf school and created mother-baby parenting group. Donna continued to work with parents through some forums where she shared her experience with many. She offers many 1-hour audio downloads that are the perfect way to get one's-reluctant-to-read-a-whole-Waldorf-book-partner involved in Waldorf homeschooling.

You can read many great articles written by Donna on her blog.

Christopherus homeschool ressources offers tons of great books to help you along the way. Check their bookstore here.

Please share this on your blog and spread the word! This is going to be an important exchange for family involved in homeschooling.

  7. How funny I was just about to send Donna my link to show her my boys little wooden house they built for 3rd Grade project. I have all her audios. I love them, so informative. I highly recommend all her books and curriculums she's been a wonderful inspiration for me and my family in our very relaxed homeschooling life.
