5th Grade Ancient Greece

Even though we may have modified some of the Ancient Greek traditions and influences, they are still at the basis of much of what is done in the Western world.

These influences include the system of government we have, our philosophy on morality, social patterns, theories of logic, science, medicine, sports, architecture, literature, plays, music and more. For this block, I mostly used the Earthschooling curriculum and we also read the book Children of the Fox that a blog reader recommended. Mathilde and I both really enjoyed it.
