Bursted bubbles

I didn't accomplish a thing today. I ignored the dust bunnies and the mess on every surface. I braved the cold and went outside to snap a few pictures. Mathilde and I laughed as the saran wrap-looking pieces of bursted bubbles floated around us. It was glorious.

I clicked on your name on 6512andgrowing because I noticed you were also cold!
These are magical pictures... as well as the ones of your daughter. Beautiful work.
Too bad I didn't know you were traveling through our area on your trip across Canada... we've made dinners for x-country travelers/strangers before...

These are amazing. When we lived somewhere inherently cold I wish we would have thought to blow bubbles in the cold.

Experimenting as we grow, I am off to your blog! Thanks for visiting! I wished I had known you when we visited your beautiful area!

Kris, it was magical to witness! My girls loved the experiment!

Wow what amazing pictures! I can't believe how cold it must be, I have never been in weather like like yours before. I am in the middle of an Australian summer, and it's been hot and dry! Dry earth, shriveled up grass and parched everything. Love reading yours posts, thanks so much, and if you ever travel to Australia I will cook you a meal !

That's so sweet, Jenni! I sure wish we will make it to Australia one day! It's fascinating to imagine that while I type this in our frozen part of the world, you are in a dry and hot summer down there.

PS you shouldn't work as a translator, but as a professional photographer - honestly!

Thanks Francesca, I am considering doing a little sideline with photography, but it is such a saturated world...

Super jeu d'hiver !
Questions:
